Final Preparations

Well Class of 2020, tomorrow is our big day. This past week was pretty busy for me as I finished my summer job Friday. Later that evening, I went to Greencastle for a beach volleyball tournament with my future teammates Zack Zerr and the Hoke twins, Aaron and Evan. Saturday and Sunday I spent some time with my girlfriend; we went out and watched Sausage Party, which was a funny but strange movie. Monday was spent shopping for my last bit of supplies and buying my mini-fridge. As of today, I believe I’m officially ready to move in.

Today, I had my doctor’s appointment which was less than exciting considering I had to get my flu and meningitis shots.  On the bright side, I’m going to lunch with my aunt and my cousins Andrew and Christian, who are 8 and 7 years old. After lunch, I’m doing some last minute laundry, packing the car, and then hanging out with my friends.

Although this is my last day in my hometown until break, I can’t wait to move to Chambersburg and become a part of Wilson’s community. I signed up for the high ropes course as part of my orientation and I’m really excited for that. I’ve always enjoyed camping, hiking, and being outdoors in general, so I think I’ll enjoy it!

I’m really excited to move in and get to know all of you! Feel free to add me on Facebook, follow me on Instagram (@ianfirestone4)  or Twitter (@04__ian) and message me whenever. I’m always willing to talk, study, go out to eat, or just hang out in general so don’t be a stranger!

Thank you as always, Ms. Landers-George. I’ve finally started classes and am starting to get more accustomed to campus life. I’m very excited to see how I’ll grow from now until graduation.
Many thanks for your continued support,
